Tuition for 2023-2024 School Year
Preschool (9:00AM-3:00PM)
General Information
The core curriculum day runs from 9 am to 3 pm. Families can choose a 10-month contract that runs from mid-August through early June or a 12-month contract that runs from mid-August through the end of July.
The tuition down payment ($3,000) and administrative fee ($250) are due when the contract is signed. The balance is paid in monthly installments with the first payment due on July 1, 2023.
Additional fees for Preschool students:
Enrollment Fee: $500 (new students)
Administrative Fee: $250 (new and returning students)
Elementary (8:30AM-3:00PM)
Kindergarten-5th Grade: $32,100.
This amount includes the $3,000 tuition down payment. Tuition includes all books and materials, technology, and day field trip fees.
Additional fees for elementary students:
Enrollment Fee: $1,000 (all kindergartners and new students in the upper grades)
Administrative Fee: $250 (new and returning students)
Sibling Discount
Ventana offers a sibling discount to families who have two or more siblings enrolled concurrently. Parents pay full tuition for the first enrolled child. A 5% discount on tuition is applied to the sibling(s) with the lower tuition amount(s).
Extended Care
We offer extended care from 3:00 - 5:30PM as an option for families who need it. This is charged separately.
Flexible Tuition at Ventana School:
We understand that affording independent school tuition in addition to the cost of living in the Bay Area can be challenging. We are committed to making Ventana accessible to as many families from a broad range of economic circumstances as possible by offering flexible tuition. Ventana welcomes all families that connect with our approach and values.
We believe that no family should be deterred from applying based on the cost of full tuition. If the cost of full tuition presents an obstacle, we encourage you to apply for flexible tuition even if you think you may not qualify.
Any family can apply for flexible tuition with any need, small or large. Your application will be kept confidential and in no way impacts admission decisions. Ventana School sends data submitted by families to School and Student Services (SSS) to evaluate requests and to offer tuition agreements based on financial circumstances. A number of factors are taken into consideration in the allocation of funds, including, but not limited to, family size, income and assets, total tuition and childcare costs, cost of living and other extraordinary circumstances. Recognizing that each family’s financial situation is unique, flexible tuition is determined on an individual basis.
In the 2020-21 school year:
34% of Ventana students participated in flexible tuition
Families paid flexible tuition ranging from 20% to 85% of full tuition

On the SSS website, complete the Parent Financial Statement (PFS) online and upload the required documents. For the 2024-25 school year, all applications and documents must be submitted to SSS by January 24, 2024. After this date, applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
