At Ventana School, we specialize in early and middle childhood, supporting students from their preschool years through the end of elementary school. Our focus on these years helps us cater specifically to the developmental needs of these students as we prepare them for middle school and beyond.

One of the benefits of a K-5 school is that our team of educators will work with families to help determine the right middle school environment for each individual child. Children have different needs in their adolescent years, and our experienced team helps families choose a middle school where their unique child can thrive.

Ventana offers information sessions for families who are interested in applying to private middle schools beginning when children are in fourth grade. Our teaching and administrative teams provide recommendations, reminders, and guidance through the application process. In addition to group meetings, the Ventana team meets individually with families to provide insight and personalized coaching

Ventana graduates have honed academic and social-emotional skills that allow them to adapt to new environments and rise to new challenges. Our challenging curriculum ensures that students are academically prepared for the rigors of middle school, often testing into advanced courses.
